Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Total Rewards Specialist for a global nonprofit organization. This position is hybrid in Washington, DC, with onsite work required every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Position Overview This role supports the organization’s comprehensive Total Rewards function, with a strong emphasis on U.S. benefits administration, compensation support, and HR analytics. The Specialist will help ensure efficient day‑to‑day benefits operations, reliable compensation processes, and accurate reporting across the HR function. This is a highly collaborative position that partners closely with HR leadership during a period of systems modernization and organizational growth.

Responsibilities
Administer U.S. employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, disability, retirement, leave management, and vendor coordination
Support compensation processes including job classification, market pricing, and salary band maintenance
Maintain accurate HR data and produce reports, dashboards, and analytics to guide HR decision‑making
Contribute to annual cycles such as Open Enrollment, compensation reviews, audits, and benefits updates
Ensure compliance with federal and multi‑state regulations related to benefits and compensation
Collaborate with HR, payroll, and IT teams to support the HRIS transition from ADP Workforce Now to Workday
Qualifications
Strong experience administering employee benefit programs and coordinating with vendors
Hands‑on exposure to compensation structure work (market benchmarking, job leveling, salary bands)
Proven ability to perform HR data analysis and generate accurate reporting
