Base pay range $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr
Responsibilities
Define QA strategy, test plans, and coverage for DERMS and related systems
Lead execution of functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
Validate integration between DERMS, SCADA, ADMS, EMS, and customer platforms
Manage the defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking
Partner with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and traceability
Lead onshore/offshore QA teams and mentor junior testers
Champion test automation, CI/CD, and Agile QA practices to accelerate delivery
Ensure compliance with utility industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Requirements
7+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in a lead role
Strong utilities/energy industry background, especially distributed energy resources
Proficiency with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Selenium) and both manual/automated testing
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
Nice To Have
QA certifications (ISTQB, CSTE)
Hands‑on experience with DERMS, SCADA, ADMS, EMS, or similar systems highly preferred
Consulting background in energy or utilities
Experience with performance or cybersecurity testing
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
