The agency seeks a highly qualified candidate for the position of

Sr Mgr 2, Business Ops/ Emergency Preparedness Director

within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Emergency Preparedness Division.

Job Responsibilities

Plans and assists with operational and programmatic activities for a department, agency, or facility.

Recommends and implements policies and procedures.

Directs subordinate managers and staff, providing leadership across multiple units, departments, and regions.

Develops, administers, and directs the Public Health Emergency Preparedness program.

Identifies needs and develops strategies to meet the emergency preparedness needs of the Public Health District; formulates goals and objectives of the program.

Develops and maintains significant district emergency preparedness plans and programs.

Identifies partners in public health emergency management coordination.

Provides guidance and oversight to Emergency Preparedness Officers for regional emergency preparedness plans.

Drafts policies and procedures, ensuring the program meets legal requirements and guidelines, and evaluates program outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field with five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Nine (9) years of related professional experience with five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Five (5) years of experience required at the lower level Sr Mgr, Business Ops (GSM012) or an equivalent position.
