Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

About the role You will work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment focused on validating high‑speed SerDes such as 400G, 800G, and 1.6T. The role involves electrical validation, automation development, interoperability testing, and system‑level debug. You’ll collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust performance across a variety of operating conditions.

Primary Responsibilities

Debug and test chips with Credo’s chip design; modify existing firmware to create targeted test FW

Provide in‑depth technical support to resolve complex HW/SW problems using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, etc.)

Participate in new product testing and develop Python scripts for automation

Create technical documentation such as application notes, user guides, and tutorials to help customers adopt products effectively

Work closely with firmware development, hardware, and validation teams to improve products and enhance tooling

Produce customer‑facing documentation like handbooks and Application Notes with reference designs

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience

Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming, or experience with Linux kernel internals, device drivers (I2C, SPI, PCIe, CAN, etc.), and board bring‑up

Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering principles to support low‑level debugging and collaborate with hardware teams

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams

Passion for high‑speed signaling, system‑level validation, and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

Solid understanding of SerDes architecture, signal integrity, and high‑speed link behavior

Familiarity with DSP architecture and ability to write bring‑up and tuning code
