Role Overview The Vice President of Sales, North America will own the regional revenue charter, driving market penetration across enterprise, OEM, and channel-led business. This executive will lead strategic sales planning, build long-lasting customer and ecosystem partnerships, and scale a high-performing sales organization to establish Cavli as the preferred IoT connectivity partner in NA. This role is responsible for revenue delivery, sales execution excellence, and expanding our footprint across automotive, industrial, and enterprise IoT sectors.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute North America go-to-market strategy to achieve aggressive revenue and margin targets
Build pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, and deal velocity across priority verticals
Drive enterprise and OEM design-wins with lifecycle revenue ambitions
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify and engage strategic accounts, distribution channels, and ecosystem alliances (operators, integrators, ODMs)
Represent Cavli with C-level customers to drive multi-year partnership agreements
Analyze market trends to refine product offerings and identify white-space opportunities
Team Leadership & Enablement
Build, mentor, and scale a top-tier sales organization (Sales Managers, FAEs, TAMs, inside sales, etc.)
Enable performance-driven culture, territory management discipline, and CRM accountability
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure delivery excellence
Commercial Strategy & Governance
Own commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and deal structuring to optimize profitability
Define performance KPIs and manage operational cadence through data-driven insights
Advocate for customers to guide roadmap alignment and post-sales success
Qualifications
10 years
of experience in enterprise or OEM technology sales, with
5 years
in leadership roles
Proven track record of scaling revenue in North America for wireless, IoT, telecom, or semiconductor solutions
Experience managing sales cycles with global OEMs, Tier-1 automotive, industrial, or smart infrastructure customers
Strong understanding of cellular technologies (LTE, 5G, eSIM, device certifications) is highly preferred
Exceptional executive presence, negotiation capability, and relationship-building skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or advanced credentials preferred
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
