Radiation Oncology (Finance)
The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is accepting applications for a Clinical Radiation Oncology Faculty position to begin in 2026. This is a full-time position in the Department of Radiology, Division of Radiation Oncology at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine for an American Board of Radiology board eligible/certified candidate. The candidate is expected to engage in clinical, research, teaching, and administrative activities, while working closely with our clinical partner, Tampa General Hospital (TGH). The candidate will be responsible for the coordination of care within the Cancer Institute and with other services and relevant affiliated sites with USF Health.
Qualifications
Medical Degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent required.
To perform this position, the candidate will need to obtain and maintain a full unrestricted Florida Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals assigned to perform clinical duties.
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient radiation therapy services and consults at various TGH locations.
Supply appropriate quality assurance measures to qualify for industry accreditation.
Coordinate care within the Cancer Institute and other services and affiliated sites.
Engage in clinical, research, teaching, and administrative activities.
Represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees.
