Registered Dietitian
to join our dedicated clinical team within the NYC Health + Hospitals System. In this role, you’ll provide floating coverage across five long‑term care facilities, primarily in Manhattan and Brooklyn—bringing expert nutrition care to those who need it most, while enjoying variety, collaboration, and the chance to grow your impact across the city.
Benefits Start with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days. Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal. Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually.
What You’ll Do
Provide compassionate care to skilled nursing and/or rehab residents.
Consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned.
Support the food service operation as needed, including test trays, food service audits, and meal rounds.

What You Bring
Registered Dietitian credential
Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) in New York State (or application in process)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
Excellent interpersonal skills to make every day a better day for our residents
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education: Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the ACEND.
Credentials: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
Salary range: $57,000.00 - $91,000.00.
