Clinical Research Coordinator

Mass General Brigham (Mass General Brigham Incorporated) Site: 101 Merrimac Street, Boston, MA (Onsite) Job Summary The Center for School Behavioral Health (CSBH) at Massachusetts General Hospital is transforming how schools support youth mental health by integrating prevention and early intervention directly into educational settings. Our mission is to foster collaborative partnerships across sectors, build school capacity, uplift innovative research‑informed models, and translate research into scalable practice and policy. CSBH is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator who will work independently and under general supervision of the Center Program Director and/or the study Principal Investigator(s). The coordinator will provide support for multi‑year clinical research studies, working in the lab and at data collection sites outside of MGH. Responsibilities include patient scheduling and recruitment, administering psychiatric scales, monitoring adverse events, administrative duties related to study protocol, database management, and quality assurance. Responsibilities Collect and organize patient data Maintain records and databases Use software to generate graphs and reports Assist with recruiting patients for clinical trials Obtain patient study data from medical records, physicians, etc. Conduct library searches Verify accuracy of study forms Update study forms per protocol Document patient visits and procedures Assist with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures Assist with interviewing study subjects Administer and score questionnaires Provide basic explanation of study and, in some cases, obtain informed consent from subjects Perform study procedures, which may include phlebotomy Assist with study regulatory submissions Write consent forms Verify subject inclusion/exclusion criteria Perform administrative support duties as required A Clinical Research Coordinator II will perform the above duties and may also: Maintain research data, patient fields, regulatory binders, and study databases Perform data analysis and QA/QC data checks Organize and interpret data Develop and implement recruitment strategies Act as a study resource for patients and families Monitor and evaluate lab and procedure data Evaluate study questionnaires Contribute to protocol recommendations Assist with preparation of annual review Skills Required Interest in working with youth and their families Careful attention to details Good organizational skills Ability to follow directions Good communication skills Computer literacy Working knowledge of clinical research protocols Respect and professionalism for subjects’ rights and individual needs Additional Qualifications for Coordinator II Ability to work independently and as a team player Analytical skills and ability to resolve technical problems Ability to interpret acceptance of data results Working knowledge of data management programs Education & Requirements Bachelor’s degree required New graduates with relevant coursework or no prior research experience considered for Coordinator I; 1–2 years of related experience considered for Coordinator II Bilingual applicants preferred but not required Additional Job Details Remote Type: Onsite Work Location: 101 Merrimac Street Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Grade: 5 Compensation $19.76 - $28.44 per hour EEO Statement Mass General Brigham Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
