Center Medical Director [Spanish Required]
Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health is looking for a Center Medical Director to lead the clinical team at a primary care center with a focus on patient care, staff development, and operational excellence. Core Responsibilities Lead clinical strategy and operational direction for the center, ensuring high quality, evidence‑based care. Mentor and coach providers, conduct performance reviews, and develop provider growth plans. Coordinate onboarding of new providers, support care model implementation, and maintain accurate clinical documentation workflows. Drive implementation of OSH strategic initiatives, collaborate with Practice Manager and Outreach Manager, and cascade organizational information to care team members. Maintain a positive culture of coaching, continuous improvement, and recognition of care team successes. Ideal Candidates Will Be M.D., D.O., A.P.N., or P.A. graduates. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or relevant specialty (required for M.D./D.O., optional for A.P.N.). 5+ years of outpatient practice experience, with prior clinical leadership and provider coaching roles. Experience using a metrics‑driven approach to medical care and quality improvement projects. Passionate about older adults, low‑income patients, and innovative primary care. $121,514.00 – $261,723.00
per year, based on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
