Job Description The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the company to patients who come in for routine health services or diagnostic testing. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and patient trust. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and adherence to established safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform daily specimen collection and processing activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at all times. Collect both forensic and clinical specimens following established practices and procedures. Verify patient demographic information and ensure all specimens are correctly labeled in the patient’s presence. Maintain required records, documentation, and compliance with quality standards. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and trust throughout the collection process. Follow all company policies, procedures, and dress code requirements. Travel to multiple sites as assigned, maintaining punctuality and professionalism. Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors, demonstrating superior customer focus. Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment. Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information at all times. Requirements / Must Have Ability to perform error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Ability to travel between multiple locations (floater role) as required. Basic understanding of Spanish to communicate effectively with patients in this area. Experience Three (3) years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience required. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to quality service. Proficiency in data entry and basic computer operations. Qualification And Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
