What You’ll Do Consistently code 1.5–2 inpatient cases per hour while meeting or exceeding quality benchmarks. Code a range of specialties that may include, but are not limited to, cardiac, trauma (all levels), transplants, burns, joint replacement, complex obstetrics & newborn, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonology, neurology / neurosurgery, general surgery, infectious disease, and critical care. Leverage your EMR and encoder proficiency to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
What You Bring Inpatient coding certification such as CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CIC, or equivalent. Proven inpatient facility coding experience in academic or trauma-level hospitals. Strong history of meeting productivity and accuracy standards. Proficiency with EMR systems and encoder software.
What You’ll Appreciate Choice of part-time or full-time schedules across five days a week. 20 PTO days per year. 6 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday. Equipment provided.
