Job Title: Intelligence Analyst

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Eligible

Location: McLean, VA / Washington, DC

Responsibilities

Analyzes, assimilates, and evaluates all available intelligence information relating to their assigned area of responsibility

Responsible for selecting new and pertinent material for the files and for recognizing important new information which may suggest the necessity for further examination or study

Prepares finished studies of factual data

Provides specialized intelligence and threat analysis and production support

Accesses and performs research on designated automated intelligence databases to identify information of interest to the customer, downloads the identified information to an appropriate medium, and edits the information into format(s) specified by the customer

Provides intelligence and threat analysis of the information that is tailored to the customer’s requirements

Develops information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations and other designated products in support of the customer’s information and technical support requirements

Prepares and presents briefings to personnel designated by the customer

Required Qualifications

Possess two (2) years of relevant experience in national security, business management, project management, financial management, business analysis, or systems engineering, including at least one of the following:

All‑source intelligence analysis experience in all intelligence disciplines, with preference given to a background and experience in SIGINT, FININT, and HUMINT collection, analysis, and operations supporting the FBI or an USIC agency

Experience supporting FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA, DHS or ODNI (preferred)

Experience in counterterrorism

Experience in execution of social network analysis and structured analytical techniques

Possess a bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or national security or higher from an accredited college or university; four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for degree

Must be able to evaluate incoming reports and information

Must be able to extract and analyze precise and exact information and details obtained from observation and research

Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment

Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Access and Outlook

Skill in following procedures and paying attention to detail

Demonstrated oral communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team environment

Demonstrated written communication skills sufficient to explain actions taken and how recommendations were derived

Schedule

Shift‑Work: Day Shift 6am‑6pm or Night Shift 6pm‑6am

Week 1: Day 1‑2 Onsite, Day 3‑5 Offsite, Day 6‑7 Onsite

Week 2: Day 1‑2 Offsite, Day 3‑5 Onsite, Day 6‑7 Offsite

Working Conditions

Possible off‑hours work to support the needs of the business

Strength Demands: Light – 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls
