Berwyn Development Corporation, Executive Director

The Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Executive Director to lead one of Illinois’ most active and award-winning local economic development organizations. Following seven years of steady, effective leadership, the current Executive Director will be stepping down from his position in 2026. The next Executive Director will guide a high-capacity team in advancing business attraction and retention, redevelopment and TIF strategies, corridor revitalization, small business lending and advising, and chamber services that support more than 270 businesses. This role requires a leader adept at municipal collaboration, fiscal oversight, stakeholder diplomacy, and community-centered economic development in a diverse and dynamic community.

The starting salary range is

$150,000–$180,000 DOQ , accompanied by a competitive benefits package.
