Job Overview
Holt CAT, the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States, is seeking a full-time, 1st shift Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Shop Service Technician at our Georgetown, Texas location (2101 Airport Rd, Georgetown, TX 78628). The work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
This position involves providing high-quality repair services on heavy equipment within a shop environment, responding to customer needs positively and promptly, and ensuring maximum value for the work performed.
Qualifications
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop, such as pumps, hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues.
- Minimum of 3 years of field or shop troubleshooting and repair experience with heavy equipment like dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with high energy levels.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Own tools required.
