We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Austin or Dallas, TX to oversee data center build projects. The Program Manager will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Along the way, you will use judgment, negotiation skills, the ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones, manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and be capable of understanding mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. They will apply a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint.

About The Team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles, collaborating across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

Basic Qualifications 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (e.g., network, data center, hardware, software) Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds

Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in engineering, management, or technology, or 5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status, and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $114,400 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,500 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
