Ro Health is looking for a BCBA to work at a school district in the San Diego area. This position would begin ASAP and would potentially continue onto the next school year as well.
Responsibilities
Experience working with students with special needs district wide and providing a mix of 1:1 and general classroom support.
Comfortable working with children and able to deal with physically aggressive individuals at times.
Helping train RBTs and assisting with FBAs and BIPs.
Collaborating with teachers, staff, principals, and parents to find solutions and strategies to best facilitate student’s goals & needs.
Serving as a positive and nurturing guide to support students’ academic and emotional needs.
Assisting teachers with student’s behavioral needs within the classroom to foster an optimal educational environment.
Providing direct services to students in all classroom settings and training staff on student behaviors.
Qualifications
Masters Degree
BCBA License
Strong assessment skills
Willingness to assist in students learning process
Strong ability to work in a team environment
