Position within the Department of Radiation Oncology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center – James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Institute.
Position Overview The Clinical Director reports directly to the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and oversees all clinical services, quality of care, resource utilization, protocol development, and accreditation compliance. Responsibilities also include faculty development, patient outcomes initiatives, and serving as the clinical representation of the department.
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide licensed medical care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical research.
Supervise and educate residents and fellows in radiation oncology.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
Collaborate across clinical, research, and administrative teams.
Qualifications
MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited residency in radiation oncology.
Board Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
Licensure in the State of Ohio or eligibility to obtain it.
