Your Part-Time Controller, LLC
(YPTC) is a national leader in outsourced accounting for nonprofit organizations.
We are seeking a dedicated, personable Controller to provide transformative accounting services to multiple nonprofit clients. This position is hybrid with a flexible schedule, 35‑hour full‑time week, competitive compensation, and a people‑focused culture.
Responsibilities
Serve as outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple nonprofit clients.
Transform client financial departments to meet mission goals.
Prepare financial reporting for management and Board decisions.
Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, controls, and compliance.
Manage transactions: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, reconciliations, month‑end close.
Conduct analysis, data visualization, budgeting and forecasting.
Grant management, allocations, and funder reporting.
Prepare for and manage annual audit.
Provide client and staff training opportunities.
Qualifications
Passionate about working in or supporting nonprofits.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in remote or consulting environment.
Ability to manage multiple clients independently and respond timely.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with QuickBooks and electronic bill pay systems.
Non‑profit, public accounting, or consulting experience is a plus.
CPA certification is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
