Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our team. This role requires deep knowledge of personal injury law and the ability to independently manage a caseload from intake through resolution.
Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including Labor Law cases, motor vehicle accidents, and slip-and-fall matters.
Evaluate case merits, analyze insurance coverage, assess case value, and review medical documentation.
Provide clear legal guidance and counsel to clients throughout the duration of their case.
Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Negotiate settlements at various stages of litigation.
Conduct legal research and perform thorough case analysis.
Manage administrative functions related to active cases, ensuring compliance with legal standards and deadlines.
Represent clients in court appearances, including motions, trials, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations across all New York counties.
Maintain proactive communication and ensure timely action on all matters in the case lifecycle.
Qualifications
Experience as a plaintiff personal injury attorney.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple deadlines.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client rapport.
Familiarity with a wide range of legal documents and litigation procedures.
