Detailed Duties And Responsibilities
Provide primary‑care services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth site‑specific protocols and consistent with the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine as it pertains to long‑term care facilities.
Review and sign MARs, orders, and lab results within the required timeframes; manage all scheduled medication prescriptions per our policies.
Allocate adequate time during each visit for paperwork and administrative duties.
Work with facilities to manage systems; attend care‑plan meetings and QA/PI meetings as requested.
Be available for on‑call duties between 8 AM and 5 PM by text or phone on scheduled days; participate in triage and on‑call scheduling.
Submit documentation and billing records to Eventus WholeHealth per billing schedules.
Maintain open, positive communication with facility staff and administration; provide feedback on medications and other caregiver information.
Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, policies, procedures, and all legal and regulatory agency rules and guidelines, including HIPAA, CPT coding, and ethical standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, including appropriate use of cell phone, email, text messaging, patient charts, and EMR.
Qualifications/Education
Licensed MD or DO
3 years in long‑term care/geriatric care preferred
AMDA Certified a plus but not mandatory
Strong leadership qualities
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
