Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Provide primary‑care services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth site‑specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine as it pertains to long‑term care facility work.
Review and sign MARs as requested; sign all orders for a supervising physician and address labs within 24 hours. Manage scheduled medication prescriptions per the company policy.
Allocate adequate time per visit for paperwork and admin duties.
Collaborate with facilities to manage systems; attend care‑plan, QA/PI meetings as requested.
Available for on‑call duties 8 AM‑5 PM by text or phone on scheduled work days; triage policies and schedules may be modified.
Submit documentation and billing records to Eventus WholeHealth following billing schedules.
Maintain open and positive communication with facility staff and administration; provide verbal or written instruction regarding medications and caregiver information.
Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, policies, procedures, and all legal/regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and CPT coding guidelines.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications / Education
Licensed MD or DO
3+ years in long‑term care/geriatric care preferred
AMDA certification a plus but not mandatory
Strong leadership qualities
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
