Position Assistant Project Manager (Superintendent) – an immediate need for an experienced professional with strong track record in construction project management.
Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion.
Supervise on‑site personnel and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction as necessary.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and manage all on‑site activities, including scheduling, materials management, quality control, and safety.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
Identify and resolve any potential issues or delays that could impact project timelines or budgets.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and to identify any potential problems or areas for improvement.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including updates on project status, budget, schedule, and any changes or issues.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely project completion.
Foster a positive and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management within the construction industry.
Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing construction projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to direct and coordinate the work of others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant computer applications.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring high quality and safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
