Job Details We are seeking a Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic, fast‑paced team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an innovative and dedicated team while making a significant impact on our projects and our community.
Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.
Manage daily operations on the construction site.
Supervise all construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, deadlines, and safety regulations.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success.
Implement strategies to prevent delays and stay within budget.
Make critical decisions that could impact the project's timeline, budget, or quality.
Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Resolve any issues, problems, or delays that occur on the construction site.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
Ensure the project complies with all building and safety codes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry (preferably K12/Education experience), focusing on managing mid‑ to large‑scale projects.
Proven experience making sound judgments under pressure.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and team‑management skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team.
Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a knack for resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong commitment to safety management, with a proven track record of maintaining safe work environments.
