Overview
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of regionally focused strategies that result in short and long-term value for the company. The position requires management and execution of project work for the Pacific Rim, direct support of business development initiatives, direct responsibility for identifying and strategically assessing opportunities in the private and public sectors, and designing and executing plans to drive company growth and profitability. Assist in preparing proposal collateral that directly address the client's needs, offering added value and cost-effective solutions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Oversee regional operations for the Pacific Rim, including Hawaii, Guam, Kwajalein, and Japan.
Review opportunities using industry standard subscription services (i.e. GovWin, SAM.gov)
Use candidate's current network to meet with companies (large and small) to generate bidding opportunities to provide environmental/remediation construction field services
Attend local SAME, PEMA, and other conferences/symposiums to keep current with upcoming contract opportunities
Attend business development meetings with potential clients
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
10 years of experience in business development in environmental remediation and construction industry preferred.
Knowledge of MS Word and Office Suite Products.
Proven and established relationships with leading environmental firms operating in (enter region).
May be required to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend networking events.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
10 years of experience in business development in environmental remediation and construction industry preferred.
Knowledge of MS Word and Office Suite Products.
Proven and established relationships with leading environmental firms operating in (enter region).
