Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in our environmental and remediation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the environmental and remediation sectors.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
Prepare and present proposals and bids for new projects and contracts.
Collaborate with the internal team to develop strategic plans and pricing strategies for new offerings.
Monitor and analyze competitors and market conditions to inform business development strategies.
Stay current with SAME, PEMA and other conferences/symposiums.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the environmental remediation or construction industry.
Strong understanding of the environmental and remediation markets, including relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Experience with government contracting and familiarity with platforms such as GovWin, FedBizOps, and Enviobidnet is preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for potential clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
Experience in federal, state, local and non-federal markets.
