Position Summary Under the supervision of the Executive Dean, the Part-time Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for teaching assigned surgical technology & sterile processing didactic, clinical and lab courses. Specific assignments will depend on the instructor’s background and quarterly scheduling. The position is part‑time, on‑site, and governed by a collective bargaining agreement with AFT representation.

What you bring as a candidate
Graduate of an accredited surgical technology education program
Credential in surgical technology from a national certification program accredited by the NCCA
Minimum of two years of experience either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology within the past five years

Operate hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment
Exchange information with supervisors, leaders, co‑workers, and students

Work across campus in varying weather conditions and typical noise levels
