We are inviting a seasoned leader to establish and lead a high‑performing team of Directors and Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) who will communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients, including physicians, scientists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in oncology.

Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Molecular Science Liaisons, the Area Vice President – Molecular Science Liaison (Central) will establish and lead a team of Directors and MSLs, ensuring effective communication of CMI to the medical community.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Directors and MSLs, driving performance and professional development.

Develop and execute national staffing plans and regional training and enablement plans to keep the MSL team up‑to‑date on Caris technology.

Track MSL activities and customer interactions to measure effectiveness and report insights to senior leadership.

Serve as a conduit of information and feedback between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences regarding products, patient needs, research developments, clinical trial opportunities, and therapeutic approaches.

Conduct medical and scientific education and support in the field, increasing Caris presence and market awareness.

Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and at conferences as assigned.

Attend and present at POA/Commercial pitch meetings and other key relationship development events.

Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States, supporting sales, POA, and marketing initiatives.

Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings.

Maintain knowledge of therapeutic oncology literature to support customer engagement.

Assist with related duties and special projects as required, including field training of contracted speakers and training duties for the region.

Provide commercial input and review of marketing materials to reflect the current molecular landscape.

Travel up to 80% within the assigned geography.

Required Qualifications

Doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D./D.O., PharmD, or equivalent) in a health‑related biological science related to pharmacology, oncology, or molecular and cellular biology.

Minimum 3 years of management experience in Medical Affairs or leading MSL teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet use for business.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry (or related health‑science field).

Prior field experience working with customers and sales organizations.

Physical Demands

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use standard office equipment.

Training

All job specific, safety, and compliance training will be assigned based on the employee's job functions.

Other

May be required to work holidays/weekends.

Role will involve frequent travel throughout an assigned geography (up to 80% travel).

Annual Hiring Range $230,000 - $250,000

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
