The role involves overseeing the performance of a portfolio of LIHTC assets to ensure compliance with program requirements. Key responsibilities include conducting regular reviews of financial and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement, collaborating with property managers and partners to address asset performance issues effectively, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to investors and stakeholders, monitoring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, especially those related to LIHTC requirements, developing and implementing strategies to optimize asset value and sustainability, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, property managers, and government agencies, and assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial planning for assigned assets.
