A respected labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its Columbia, South Carolina office. The position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of employment litigation matters, including handling cases from inception through resolution. While prior employment law experience is preferred, candidates with strong defense-side complex litigation experience are encouraged to apply, especially those eager to develop a focus in labor and employment law. Manage employment litigation matters from start to finish Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court Take and defend depositions Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials Provide strategic litigation counsel to clients Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case development Requirements

3–5 years of litigation experience, ideally in employment or complex commercial litigation Strong command of litigation procedures and rules Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Experience with depositions, motions, and trials Client-focused approach with a commitment to service and results Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications

Admission to the South Carolina Bar or sufficient UBE scores for admission Skills
