Sr. Manager, YouTube Location: Los Angeles Your Mission We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented

Senior Manager, YouTube . This person will lead YouTube strategy and execution across BMG’s artist and catalog repertoire, driving growth, visibility, and fan engagement. This role is responsible for channel management, content optimization, audience development, and editorial pitching—serving as the go-to expert for all things YouTube. Through strong collaboration with internal teams, artist partners, and YouTube’s editorial team, this person will turn data insights, trends, and platform innovations into impactful campaigns that elevate BMG artists across one of the world’s most influential platforms. What You'll Be Doing Managing YouTube video uploads and channel optimization Developing and executing release strategies Partner management between YouTube Music and artist teams Analyzing data and applying insights to optimize strategies Expanding channel audience and engagement Staying updated with latest YouTube features and trends Executing livestreams and utilizing all YouTube platform features Securing support from YouTube Music both on and off platform Ensuring compliance with YouTube content policies, rights management, and monetization best practices Collaborating with marketing and artist teams to align content strategies with broader campaigns Serving as the key YouTube expert for artists, managers, and internal teams, providing strategic guidance What We Are Looking For Experience working with YouTube, ideally in the music industry Channel management experience on YouTube Deep understanding of YouTube best practices, content strategies, and algorithms Experience with platform tools or API integrations is a plus Ability to build relationships with accounts, clients, artist managers, and internal teams Experience working directly with artists and management teams Proficiency or familiarity with AI and digital tools Highly organized and goal-oriented Passion for creator communities, influencers, and current trends What’s In It For You Flexible hybrid work setup: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 6% after one year Flexible time off policies Commuter benefits and wellness programs Well-being support available 24/7 Summer Fridays and other perks Development opportunities including mentorship, LinkedIn Learning, and reimbursements Opportunities to engage with talented artists at showcases and events Pay Range $80,000 - $90,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
