My client is a residential contractor based in Bucks County, PA that builds custom homes and multifamily buildings throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. They have built hundreds of homes over the last 2 decades and are known as a premier homebuilder in the region. Job Description
Manage daily operations of residential job sites, ensuring builds are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and laborers. Schedule and monitor all phases of construction, from site prep and foundation to framing, mechanicals, interiors, and punch list completion. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards, building codes, and project specifications. Maintain project timelines through detailed short-term scheduling (weekly lookaheads) and proactive issue resolution. Communicate consistently with clients, project managers, and office staff regarding progress, challenges, and change orders. Enforce and maintain site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and local regulations. Oversee delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; report shortages or discrepancies. Generate daily logs, photos, timecards, and progress reports using construction management software or apps. Support inspections, permitting, and certificate of occupancy coordination with local townships and authorities. Minimum 5-10 years of supervisory experience in residential construction (single-family, townhomes, or custom homes). Strong understanding of all construction phases, residential building codes, trades coordination, and local permitting processes in Pennsylvania. Proven ability to lead crews and manage subcontractors while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism. Excellent communication skills with homeowners, tradespeople, inspectors, and internal staff. Comfortable using construction management platforms (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore), MS Office, and mobile-based reporting tools. OSHA 30 certification preferred; valid driver's license required. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade school a plus. What's on Offer
