About this Job As a Senior Accountant, you will be working directly with our CFO and Controller to build and administer key accounting processes. This role will be full-time in person Monday - Friday and based out of our Bethesda, MD corporate office. What you'll be doing Review daily sales reporting and accounts receivable processing. Process and record all vendor invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper approval and payment. Manage vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues. Communicate and coordinate with outside accounting firm on a need-as basis. Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring proper allocation and compliance with company policies. Reconcile and record credit card transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Calculate commissions for eligible employees, ensuring accuracy in accordance with sales or performance targets and commission structures. Investigate any discrepancies between bank statements and general ledger balances, ensuring timely resolution of any issues. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for financial reporting. Aid in automating and streamlining accounting workflows, where applicable, to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. Provide general accounting support as needed, including special projects, data analysis, and process improvements.
