The Vice President of Asset Management will take full ownership of a portfolio of multifamily assets, primarily located in Houston, with occasional oversight of assets in other Texas metros. Key responsibilities include: Lead all aspects of asset-level execution for stabilized, lease-up, and value-add multifamily investments. Collaborate directly with the CEO to shape and implement the firm's broader investment and performance strategy. Own the development and execution of property-level business plans, including rent strategies, renovation programs, and capital expenditures. Drive NOI growth through hands-on oversight of leasing, revenue management, and expense optimization. Partner with third-party property management teams to ensure alignment with KPIs and financial objectives. Provide market insight and submarket-level intelligence to support real-time decision-making. Work alongside acquisitions during diligence and early-stage transition to stabilize asset performance quickly post-close. Present monthly and quarterly financial reporting to the CEO and investment stakeholders. Perform ongoing hold/sell analysis and lead the asset disposition process as needed. Qualifications / Requirements 8+ years of experience in asset management, with a deep background in multifamily real estate, ideally within the Texas market. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's in Real Estate preferred. Proven track record of creating and executing value-add strategies across mid-size to large multifamily portfolios. Exceptional understanding of the Houston multifamily market, including Class A/B assets. Strong communication skills and executive presence with experience reporting directly to C-level leadership. Advanced Excel modeling skills; familiarity with Yardi, RealPage, or comparable platforms. Ability to lead independently while collaborating with acquisitions, construction, and property operations teams. Willingness to travel locally to property sites regularly, with occasional trips to other Texas markets. What's On Offer
