Mortenson Summary Mortenson is currently seeking a
Marketing Coordinator
with the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, proactivity, professionalism, and confidentiality. The Marketing Coordinator will master the customer journey and support communications at each stage: from awareness, to nurturing the sales cycle, to building brand preference, to customer advocacy. The primary goal is new business acquisition by supporting sales efforts of leadership and Operating Group (OG) representatives. Responsibilities Support BD and construction teams for successful customer interactions, including meetings, speaking engagements, and social media posts. Assist in project acquisition through high-quality proposals and presentations that differentiate Mortenson and address customer needs. Create and maintain marketing processes, record-keeping systems, and a historical information library. Meet financial targets by achieving content marketing goals, mapping customer decision paths, developing customer personas, and identifying effective tactics. Develop integrated marketing programs and budgets across various channels such as website, articles, videos, PR, social media, and advertising. Implement and measure internal communication plans, analyze results, and promote continuous improvement. Support segmentation and targeting decisions through analytics and measurement. Represent the voice of the customer during messaging and storytelling exercises. Stay informed on industry trends and customer insights by reading publications, participating in associations, and attending events. Success is measured by new relationships, business acquired, marketing metrics, and leadership feedback. Qualifications 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. At least 2 years of experience in integrated marketing, specifically B2B. Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce. Problem-solving skills. Experience in Business Services industry preferred.
