The Role: Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff The Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff (CoS) will serve as a force multiplier for selected senior executives from MRV’s Management Committee, making time, information, and decision-making more effective. Working with the Executives and other team members, you'll gain insight into how they engage with their external network, build the firm, make strategic/investment decisions, and navigate within the broader corporation. Additionally, this role would support the broader Operations team with ad-hoc office administration tasks and events. You’ll be interested in growing into the position and contributing in a stable, long-term capacity. The position reports to the Head of Operations and Technology, and it is based in San Francisco. The Executive Assistant/CoS will: Executive, Administrative, and Operational Support Provide executive support and light personal assistance to the Managing General Partner Provide executive support to the Managing Director CFO/COO and General Counsel Prioritize the executives’ time strategically, mapping calendar against priorities Anticipate, organize, and communicate information or materials (reports, meeting minutes, agendas, etc.) needed to prepare senior team members for meetings or appointments Schedule office visits and welcome and attend to guests Support maintaining a clean and well-organized office and handle any ad-hoc administrative or operational tasks Work with the rest of the internal operations team to organize, support, and/or execute in-office or offsite events, by researching team activities, hotels, restaurants, etc Chief of Staff Responsibilities Track strategic topics (projects, deals, decisions, actions) for the Executives Identify gaps where the executives require support and develop the necessary, efficient, and scalable processes and procedures to address them Manage requests for information, review, and approval on behalf of Executives Build relationships with MRV and LPs to liaise between the Executives, MRV, and the broader corporate organization Craft internal communications to drive initiatives and increase understanding of MRV Handle sensitive business matters with discretion and professionalism The Person: Successful Candidate Organization & Execution:

Comfortable providing honest feedback to leadership, demonstrating sound business judgment with all stakeholders Requirements and Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant experience in an office environment, preferably in an administrative or operational role within VC, PE, banking, consulting, or a start-up Strong technological skills required (AI applications, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, T&E, productivity tools) Minimum 4 days in-person attendance at San Francisco office Salary Range: The base salary range anticipated for this position is $110,500 to $162,000, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in San Francisco. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
