As a Cloud Specialist (AWS), you will serve as a technical operations expert responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based IT solutions. You will build, maintain, and operate infrastructure, security services, and system components in cloud providers to deliver highly available and scalable services. The role requires advanced work with minimal supervision. This position does not have direct reports. Proactive Problem Solver:
Identify root causes of issues and address them early and comprehensively. Automation Enthusiast:
Use automation tools like build and deployment pipelines, Docker, Python, Bash, and Ansible to streamline operations. Multifaceted Expertise:
Proficient in CI/CD automation, SDLC, Cloud computing (AWS), Python, Bash, and Ansible. Comprehensive Problem Analysis:
Conduct thorough investigations to understand all aspects of issues and resolve them effectively. Culture:
Help establish and maintain a DevOps culture, enabling development teams to be self-sufficient. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience (6+ years for experienced, 8+ years for senior roles). Experience with git and SDLC. Proficiency in Linux/UNIX systems. Experience coding Terraform. Experience with Cloud Computing, preferably AWS. Skills in automation tools and processes to optimize cloud spending (FinOps). Proficiency in CI/CD workflows, preferably Gitlab. Experience with containerized systems. Knowledge of REST APIs and web services is desirable. Ability to perform code reviews in pipeline code, Docker, Python, and Bash. Ability to adapt to changing environments and develop innovative solutions.
