CONTRACT | Legal Recruiting Assistant Job at Lawyers On Demand, a Consilio Compa

Lawyers on Demand is urgently seeking a contract Legal Recruiting Assistant to support one of our prestigious law firm clients in New York City.

Start: ASAP once interviewed and selected

Duration: at least through January 2026

Pay Rate: $30-35/hour, depending on experience

Location: Lower Manhattan, fully on site

Candidates with HR experience highly encouraged to apply!

Overtime is expected and would be mandatory, paid at 1.5X hourly. 

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail oriented Legal Recruiting Professional to support their fast-paced recruiting operations involving summer associates, first year associates, lateral associates, and lateral partners. If you thrive on coordination, scheduling, client service and are energized by a culture that values inclusivity and precision, you might be the perfect fit.

Tasks include:

• Coordinate interview schedules and attorney & candidate communications
• Assist with onboarding and summer associate programs
• Liaise with reception for visitor logistics and building entry
• Collaborate with team to monitor ViRecruit and other HRIS platforms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of recruiting or administrative experience
• Previous law firm or professional services experience required
• Comfortable working independently, self-motivated
• Sharp communication and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with ViRecruit, iManage, and/or alternatively HRIS platforms
