Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of OR experience.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital Operating Room setting Patient caseload includes general, orthopedic, urology, endo/laparoscopic, neuro, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, transplant, and gynecology cases Experience with vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and ENT cases is preferred Day shifts with 4x10 hour schedule, 7:00 to 17:30 Rotating call is required Use of Pyxis equipment and Epic EMR system Scrubs are provided First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment Former permanent staff must have a separation of at least one year before returning as a traveler No travel pairs or groups are allowed Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills are expected
