Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong ortho/neuro trauma background and both scrub and circulate experience.
Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a large hospital setting Patient population primarily includes ortho and neuro trauma cases Both scrub and circulate duties required in the OR Shift is 12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 13-week assignment Duties include performing scrub and circulate roles for surgeries, with a focus on orthopedic and neurosurgical trauma cases Collaboration with the surgical team and supporting staff is expected Scrub attire must follow facility guidelines Locals are accepted at the same rate, except at Howard County General where no locals are allowed First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements Active MD or compact RN license required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of two years of recent circulating and scrub Operating Room experience Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required Strong ortho and neuro trauma OR experience necessary Experience with Epic EMR required
