A New York City healthcare organization is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their growing team in Brooklyn on a Part-time basis. In this role, the Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, plans goals, and treats individuals with speech, swallowing and communication disorders.

PrecisonCare Responsibilities: The Speech Language Pathologist will: Evaluates the degrees of function and disability of the patient Provides appropriate professional treatment in order to improve and/or sustain the patient's functioning level and ability to communicate Provides original written evaluations to be places in the patient's medical record Ensure that the patient's physician and members of the Interdisciplinary Team are informed of the goals and expectations for the patient's progress Provides written documentation of the patient's response to treatment via speech-language pathology notes in the patient's medical records Correlates the patient's treatment plan with members of the Interdisciplinary Team Performs hearing screening on all new patients and upon referral Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Masters Degree Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C) Required Skills: Minimum of one-year experience as a certified licensed speech pathologist Holds a current license issued by New York State Department of Education to practice as a Speech Pathologist and is registered with the State of New York Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
