About the Position The company seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of HVAC and plumbing projects throughout the San Diego region. The role includes managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, field coordination, and maintaining communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction to closeout.
Track and oversee project progress, schedules, manpower planning, procurement, and cost control.
Coordinate field operations and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
Maintain proactive communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and resolve job‑site challenges.
Support forecasting, reporting, and financial performance.
Manage projects ranging from $500K to $5M across various markets.
Requirements
3–4 years of project management experience in mechanical contracting (HVAC and plumbing preferred).
Exposure to multiple markets: Commercial & Industrial, Detention, Government & Military, Hospitality & Assisted Living, Student Housing, Multi‑Family Residential.
Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000, depending on experience.
