Immediate need for a talented
AP/AR Accountant
on a 04‑month Contract‑to‑Hire opportunity located in
Santa Clara, CA
(Onsite). The role supports daily invoicing, receivables, month‑end close, and variance analysis for a leading real‑estate client. Key Responsibilities
Process billing/invoice entries and submit cash applications to vouchers and invoices. Research and resolve accounts receivable issues and reconcile billings and accounts receivables. Analyze financial transaction records to determine accuracy and completeness of entries. Assist in the closing of the Monthly Variance Report and prepare variance explanation reports. Prepare and review projections of accounting data to show effects of proposed changes on income and financial condition. Maintain records, reconcile billings, and reconcile accounts receivables. Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principles. Assist month‑end accounting entries, reconcile discrepancies, post to GL and review variances to budget. Read and interpret contracts, legal documents, and other agreements and record complex business transactions in the general ledger. Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 2‑3 years professional level accounting experience. Strong skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Analysis, Variance Reporting, Reconciliations, GAAP, Billing & Invoicing, Month‑End Close, and accounting software. Compensation
