Position Summary The Clinical Staff Pharmacist supports the department’s mission by preventing, identifying, and resolving drug‑related problems to assure patient safety, improve satisfaction, optimize outcomes, and minimize costs. Duties include accurate and timely dispensing, clinical interaction with the healthcare team, patient involvement, and technician supervision. The pharmacist collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to provide safe, effective, and fiscally responsible care. Responsibilities include interpreting medication orders, reviewing therapy, dispensing medication, and disseminating drug information across all care units from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Position Qualifications
Current Florida Licensure in Pharmacy.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Bachelor of Science required.
Minimum of one (1) year hospital experience preferred.
Must pass background and drug‑test screenings.
