We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.
This is a Part Time, benefited, 12 hour Night shift , 48 hours per two week pay period (1900 to 0730), ICU Float Pool opportunity within our La Jolla Hospitals (Memorial and Green).
This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $2K.

Supporting excellence in patient and family-centered care, the Site Based Float Pool provides critical nursing support to our acute care units at the Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Green and Scripps Encinitas hospitals. We invite you to join our highly engaged team of Float Pool Registered Nurses within ICU responsible for providing direct patient care that includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients’ progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This role requires you to float to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines. Floating to PCU, DOU, Tele, Oncology, MS and other areas will be required.

Required Qualifications
One (1) year of recent RN experience in an adult ICU
California Registered Nurse License
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
NIH Certification
Six (6) months of RN Progressive Care experience and 2 years of ICU experience
