People Analytics Senior Manager – CBIZ
CBIZ is looking for an experienced People Analytics Senior Manager to lead the enterprise people analytics strategy, deliver data‑driven insights, and support HR operations and business leadership.
Responsibilities
Develop productive relationships with business unit leaders, HR peers, and corporate HR partners to advance performance through effective talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, training, and engagement.
Partner with national recruiting resources to recruit, interview, select, and onboard campus and experienced talent.
Drive performance management and compensation planning processes, coordinating with payroll for timely execution.
Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions with business leaders and HR teams.
Administer HR programs including salary administration, benefits, performance appraisals, and other key initiatives.
Lead local employee engagement activities and support workplace award programs.
Serve as liaison with associates and Employee Service Center to resolve benefit matters.
Conduct exit interviews and coordinate unemployment claims.
Leverage the Human Capital Management system for accurate employee records, data, and reporting.
Define and execute the enterprise people analytics strategy, vision, roadmap, and capabilities.
Act as senior advisor to HR leadership, shaping workforce insights for talent, retention, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
Guide leadership in building a data‑driven culture and embedding analytics into strategic planning and operations.
Deliver executive‑ready insights and presentations linking workforce trends to business outcomes.
Represent People Analytics in high‑visibility discussions and leadership forums.
Oversee development of workforce dashboards, KPIs, and metrics measuring organizational health.
Advance analytics from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive insights to identify opportunities and risks.
Champion data governance, quality, and integrity practices.
Provide guidance to HR and business leaders on data interpretation and analytics‑informed decision making.
Monitor emerging analytics tools and recommend enhancements aligned with business needs.
May supervise HR staff.
Preferred Qualifications
PHR or SPHR certification.
Supervisory experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in people analytics, workforce strategy, or related data‑driven HR leadership.
Strong proficiency in data modeling and enterprise HR systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
Advanced skills in Power BI or equivalent business intelligence and visualization tools.
Proven ability to develop and oversee enterprise dashboards, workforce KPIs, and predictive analytics.
Exceptional business acumen, communication, and storytelling skills, simplifying complex data for executive audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
5 years of HR‑related experience.
Strong HR generalist background.
In-depth knowledge of performance management, legal compliance, employee relations, compensation/benefits, and HRIS.
Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication across all organization levels.
Demonstrated negotiation, conflict, and problem‑resolution skills.
Proficient use of applicable technology.
Travel willingness based on business needs.
