Purpose of Position: This position requires the ability to analyze systems and integrations. Provide knowledge & strategies in implementing solutions, upgrades and training. The candidate should be able to manage Stakeholder collaboration, Vendor management and communications coupled with technical knowledge.

Accountabilities:

Leading the design, development and testing of the EDI interfaces and its Data Management.

Identifying business process improvement opportunities leveraging technology and supporting organizational change. Researching new technologies and functionality, making recommendations for their use.

Support internal customers/managers and other team members in implementing standard-based solutions

Ensure successful implementations and support project efforts.

Manage, monitor and guide team members assigned constantly

Ensure strict compliance to corporate IT policy & guidelines. Ensure optimal service levels in line with global IT directives

Accountable to provide business analysis and process redesign functionality.

Accountable to prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows; and work closely with developers.

Accountable for designing and executing Project Implementation Documentation like, Training Manual, Test scripts & Test Plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly and meet business objectives.

Accountable for ensuring projects are implemented by the agreed plan on time and within budget

Accountable to update regular and informative status reports to Management.

Accountable to determine application development requirements, acting as the liaison of the IT Organization with the end users to ensure requirements and progress are communicated accurately.

Accountable for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of end user problems as well as performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions such as maintaining interfaces to external systems where applicable.

Accountable to Time manage all responsibilities to ensure that they are completed in order of their priority within the business.

Accountable to provide primary end-user support.

Accountable to undertake other tasks within the IT department as and where necessary as instructed by local, regional, or corporate management.

Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.

Accountable to support integrated systems and interfaces.

Accountable to prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows; and work closely with developers.

Minimum Skills Required:

Working knowledge of supply chain management processes

SQL language scripting.

Fundamental understanding of XML file structure and schemas.

Working Knowledge of EDI Standards, particularly X12 standards. Understand the mapping process related to XML and X12.

Fundamental understanding of EDI connection mechanisms (FTP/SFTP/AS2)

Must be knowledgeable in these EDI documents including but not limited to 204, 210, 214, 810, 812, 816, 820, 824, 850, 855, 856, 860, 864, 875, 880, 894, 895, 990, including specifications, mapping and configuration.

Successfully handling multiple projects, completing them on time, and on budget.

Be able to monitor, analyze, and investigate interfaces.

Knowledge of integration tools (FTP,API, etc.)

Knowledge of EDI middleware/VANS (IBM Sterling, SPS Commerce, PLQ, EDI Interconnect)

At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role.

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Related subjects

Preferred:

Knowledge of Zebra Programming Language (ZPL)

FMCG/FOODS INDUSTRY, SUPPLY CHAIN

Master’s Degree in IT or related subjects.

Working knowledge of PPRO software and its database staging.

This position does not qualify for relocation expenses.
