What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual with proven experience in driving sales revenues for hotels or resorts to join our team as Senior Sales Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group business within assigned vertical and geographical markets, maximizing revenue opportunities, achieving personal and team goals, and delivering exceptional service to foster customer loyalty.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Proactively solicit and secure group business through effective sales strategies.
Meet, greet, and entertain potential clients, promoting the property to increase sales.
Generate and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Negotiate contracts, ensuring all details are documented and executed properly.
Oversee event and meeting setups, collaborating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Represent the property at trade shows and maintain strong relationships within industry organizations.
Develop and implement sales strategies and prepare performance reports.
Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience required.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
Ability to travel occasionally for client visits, solicitation, and training.
Knowledge of Marriott CITY and Opera systems preferred.
Independent, high‑energy, entrepreneurial mindset with a creative approach to sales.
Understanding of hotel operations and interdepartmental collaboration.
Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor.
This is an on‑property position offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to make a significant impact.
Compensation $85,000 – $90,000
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
