We are seeking an experienced Biotechnology Patent Agent with a strong academic background and a passion for intellectual property in the biotech field. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
Draft patent applications and manage patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international patent offices.
Critically analyze complex scientific technologies, quickly grasp new innovations, and communicate effectively through patent drafting.
Work with clients to understand their technologies and develop patent strategies.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Experience in patent drafting and prosecution preferred.
Registration to practice before the USPTO.
