Regional Field Service Manager
As part of Leica Biosystems, a Danaher company, the Regional Field Service Manager is responsible for managing a regional field service team in the San Francisco, CA area. The manager will lead a field service engineering team, collaborate with service coordination, applications, and sales, and ensure timely, accurate repair, calibration, instrument qualification, and installation services.
In This Role
Drive Customer Satisfaction and be the clear advocate for the customer during service calls, installations, and resolving high‑pressure customer issues.
Leverage strong communication and listening skills to exceed customer expectations and close all outstanding issues with high business acumen.
Create an ownership culture and ensure associates understand objectives, receive guidance, and develop toward success.
Develop a continuous improvement and accountability culture with daily management and monthly KPI’s.
Document and improve processes via Kaizen and other tools, applying Danaher Business System expertise.
The Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree
9+ years of field service experience
3+ years of customer‑facing experience
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Up to 90% travel by air and/or ground, including overnight stays and short‑notice travel; primarily domestic with occasional international.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift, move, slide, raise, or place up to 50 lbs. and perform necessary physical tasks for servicing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience
Experience troubleshooting and repairing medical laboratory instruments

Annual salary range: $125,000 – $145,000 USD. The range is subject to change. The role may also include bonus and incentive pay.
