Overview
Solutions Architect – Digital Pathology role at Leica Biosystems. This position is part of the Pathology Imaging Sales team, field-based, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. The role involves achieving product sales goals, delivering product demonstrations, and communicating complex technical information to various customer stakeholders. Responsibilities
Serve as technical expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and related software products. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance. Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for pre- and post-sales activities, such as customer appointments, trade shows and customer training. Engage with existing customer accounts to expand the current base, meet active opportunities, and prospect for new opportunities in the assigned geography. Coordinate sales activities within national, multi-site laboratory accounts by interfacing with other departments to ensure proper handling of customer requirements and complete Solution Design documentation with key stakeholders to facilitate fast implementation of client orders. Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in IT or a scientific field (or equivalent work experience). Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology preferred. Prior capital sales experience preferred. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel 50–75% within territory. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 lbs and other physical requirements. Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Travel by car and flying with potential long wait times. Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $118,000 - $130,000. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Leica Biosystems offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k).
